Palace declares September 12 a regular holiday in observance of Eid'l Adha. Meanwhile for our Kababayan in the Middle East, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will observe Eid'l Adha from September 11 to 15.





According to GMA News, Proclamation 56 was signed on Monday by President Rodrigo Duterte before leaving for Vientiane, Laos for the ASEAN Summit.

Eid'l Adha is one of the two greatest Muslim feasts.

The other is Eid'l Fitr, or the end of Ramadhan, the month of fasting.

The declaration of Eid'l Adha as a Philippine holiday is covered by Republic Act 9849, signed by former President Gloria Arroyo.
