How to Organize Clash Royale Tournament in Philippines

For those who are planning to organize a Clash Royale Tournament, please read SuperCell's announcement and guidelines for Clash Royale Tournament.

Community Tournament Guidelines

Are you interested in running a tournament with one of our games? Awesome! We're happy to help our players organize competitions, and have this set of rules for you to follow as well as help you and your participants have an awesome experience.
Please read these community tournament guidelines ("Tournament Guidelines") carefully before setting up an event as they apply to all tournaments and competitions organised around Supercell's games.

Note that these Tournament Guidelines are always evolving and we may amend them any time by posting a new version online, so please check back here for updates!

Do you need a license or other permission from Supercell to run a tournament?
As long as you follow these Tournament Guidelines, no, you don't!

If you want to arrange a tournament that goes beyond the below limits, you need a separate license from us. Please contact us at tournaments@supercell.com to discuss and see if we can work together.

COMMUNITY TOURNAMENT RULES

Apart from the below requirements, we won't tell you how to set up and run your tournament. The competition format, the rules, and the prizing (up to a limit) are all up to you.

  • IMPORTANT: You must not state that the tournament is "official" or imply that Supercell is involved or affiliated with your tournament.
    • Please use this disclaimer in all player-facing communications: "Supercell is not affiliated with, does not endorse, nor is it responsible for, the content of this tournament, site or other materials related to this event."
  • The total combined prize value (cash prize and other benefits, such as accommodation and physical prize items) must be limited to $10,000 USD.
  • Let us know about your event by contacting tournaments@supercell.com. We want to be aware of what our players are up to and help out where possible!
  • You're free to record and stream your tournament on any online platform of your choosing.
  • You may not broadcast your tournament on TV.
  • You may not charge a fee for spectators to watch the stream(s) of your tournament, either one-time or subscription based.
  • Your tournament should promote a fun and engaging gameplay experience and any tournament rules must have skill as the determining factor for success. Any type of gambling, betting, raffles or similar activities cannot be associated with your tournament.
BRANDING, ARTWORK AND SPONSORSHIPS

  • You're free to use the Supercell-provided tournament art assets & game logos for your event on a non-exclusive basis, but you may not modify them in any way (except for resizing the assets in proportion).
  • You cannot use the Supercell logo
  • Your tournament cannot promote (under sponsorship or otherwise) any of the following categories:
    • Other game developers or publishers
    • Alcohol
    • Tobacco
    • Drugs
    • Pornography
    • Weapons & firearms
    • Gambling
    • Companies or services that act in ways contrary to Supercell's interests (game exploits, mods, etc.)
OTHER STUFF
  • Some countries or jurisdictions prohibit tournaments with cash prizes and/or entrance fees to compete in a tournament and there can also be other restrictions depending on the nature and location of your event. It is your responsibility to make sure that you are compliant with local laws and regulations.
  • For the purposes of this policy, your community event is deemed "Fan Content" as specified in our Fan Content Policy. Supercell may choose to promote your community event and use the results to qualify players for official Supercell tournament events and marketing activities.
  • These Tournament Guidelines are an integral part of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • We reserve the right to revoke an individual tournament permission at our discretion, for example if we deem the event could be detrimental towards Supercell, against the spirit of these Guidelines or otherwise objectionable.
  • For other questions related to producing content, please refer to our Fan Content Policy.
