Survival by Muse- 2012 London Olympics Theme Song Video and Lyrcis

Here's Surviva by Muse- 2012 London Olympics Official Theme Song Video and Lyrcis! The music video  will be posted here, once it becomes available online.

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games, officially the Games of the XXX Olympiad, and also known as London 2012 as per the official logo, are scheduled to take place in London, England, United Kingdom from 27 July to 12 August 2012.

London has hosted the Olympic Games on two past occasions, in 1908 and 1948, with a third scheduled for 2012. The planned 2012 Summer Olympics will make London the first city to have hosted the modern Games of three Olympiads. London is the only city in the United Kingdom to have ever hosted the Olympics; the United States is the only country to have hosted Summer Olympics on more occasions than the UK.

British participation in Olympic events, both as a competitor and as a host, is the responsibility of the British Olympic Association. wikipedia

Survival Lyrics
Race
Life's a race
But I'm gonna win
Yes, I'm gonna win
And I'll light the fuse
And I'll never lose
And I choose to survive
Whatever it takes
You won't pull ahead
I'll keep up the pace
And I'll reveal my strength
To the whole human race
Yes, I am prepared
To stay alive
I won't forgive
Vengeance is mine
And I won't give in
Because I choose to fight
Yeah, we're gonna win

Race
It's a race
But I'm gonna win
Yes, I'm gonna win
And I'll light the fuse
And I'll never lose
And I choose to survive
Whatever it takes
You won't pull ahead
I'll keep up the pace
And I'll reveal my strength
To the whole human race
Yes, I'm gonna win
Yes, I'm gonna win

Spain vs. Portugal Euro 2012 Semi-Finals, 4-2 -Video

Watch Spain vs. Portugal Euro 2012 Semi-Finals Highlights!   Spain reached their third consecutive major tournament final after overcoming neighbours Portugal 4-2 on penalties in the first Euro 2012 semi-final in Donetsk on Wednesday.

The World Cup winners and defending European champion, Spain, could not be separated from their courageous Iberian neighbours after 120 minutes at the Donbass Arena.

For all the promise Portugal showed in the first 30 minutes, when they were much the better team, it was the Spaniards who had the best chances.

Here's Meet and Greet with Jaworski Contest from Ginebra San Miguel! Lahing Ginebra Ikaw Na, Ikaw Na Nga Ba? Just show your Jaworski Memories by uploading on the Meet and Greet with Jaworski  Facebook Promo, see HERE.

Known as The Big J and called The Living Legend during his playing days, Jaworski was a former playing coach—the first ever in the PBA in 1985—for Ginebra San Miguel. In 2000 he was honored as one of the PBA’s 25 Greatest Players of all time.

In 2003, after 23 years of giving Philippine basketball fans scintillating performances, he once more thrilled the public when the fabled Crispa-Toyota rivalry was relived in a historic reunion match on May 30, 2003 that played to a packed Araneta Coliseum. The match did not fail to disappoint as the game was tantalizingly close until the dying seconds of the game when Jaworski, reprising his old role, sank a three pointer from atop the arc from an assist by Fernandez to give his old team one last triumph over their old nemesis.

Filipino Team in 2012 London Olympics- "Laban Atletang Pinoy!"

The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC), with the help of Procter and Gamble (P&G) Philippines, kicks off the journey of the country’s contingent to the London 2012 Olympic Games with warm wishes and inspirational messages at the Grand Send-off ceremony held at The Blue Leaf on the 25th of June, 2012.

With the valuable support of Olympic partners ICTSI, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Mizuno and Samsonite, as well as backing from Petron, Smart Sports, PRC, SportsCore and Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), the event contributed greatly to the motivation and excitement of the athletes who were grateful for the encouragement.

Gracing the event were top sports officials from the POC and PSC, NSA presidents, past Olympians, coaches, athletes’ family members and sponsors of the Philippine delegation, brought together by their desire to support the country’s finest athletes as they compete in the world’s most prestigious athletic competition.

“The most important thing is for our athletes to do their best and show the heart and determination that is present in every Filipino. Our focus is to show the world that we have the makings of champions and that we are unyielding and steadfast in achieving our goals.” said Mr. Jose “Peping” Cojuangco, President of the Philippine Olympic Committee.

Among the Olympians present were boxer Mark Anthony Barriga, runner Rene Herrera, long-jumper Marestella Torres, swimmers Jessie Khing Lacuna and Jasmine Alkhaldi, shooter Paul Brian Rosario and weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz.

The other members of the 2012 Philippine Olympic Team who were not present because they are training outside the country are cyclist Daniel Manabat Caluag (currently in the US) and Judo athlete Tomohiko Aldaba Hoshina (currently in Japan).

Their moms were, the greatest cheerleaders of the Olympians as they pursued their dreams of Olympic gold. Yet the day’s event went beyond honoring the Olympic delegates as it also recognized the loving mothers behind these athletes’ success.

“P&G’s mission is touching and improving all people’s lives – and what better way to do this during the Olympic year than to honor mothers, who were the very first to see the heroes and champions in our athletes and in all of us, whose love and support helped us to believe in ourselves and our dreams,” explained Mr. Chad Sotelo, P&G Country Marketing Manager.

With this goal in mind, P&G launched its “Thank you Mom” campaign, which seeks to inspire everyone to pay tribute to their own moms and acknowledge the many sacrifices they’ve made to help us become who we are today.

“To our athletes, we wish you the best of luck in the 2012 London Games. In our eyes, you are already winners and we are sure that you will make the country proud,” Sotelo said.

“And to their moms and all Filipino moms, thank you for the love and sacrifice you’ve shown daily that helped create these world-class athletes, and that helped raise everyday heroes. P&G continues to be one with you in your effort to provide the best for your children and your families.”
