Tropical Storm "IGME" has intensified further as it moves North slowly. According to PAGASA at 10:00 a.m. today, 20 August 2012, the center of Tropical Storm "IGME" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 280 km East of Aparri, Cagayan (18.2°N 124.7°E).
Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 - 15 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 500 km diameter of the Tropical Storm.
Tropical Storm "IGME" is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon that will bring light to moderate rains over Luzon specially the western section ( particularly Pangasinan,Zambales, Bataan and Mindoro).
Typhhon Signal No. 1was issued at Isabela and Cagayan.
