According to PAGASA, at 6:00 a.m. today, 21 August 2012, the center of Typhoon "IGME" was located based on satellite and surface data at 380 km East of Basco, Batanes (20.0°N 125.2°E).
Typhoon "IGME" is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon that will bring light to moderate rains over Luzon specially the Western section (Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Batangas and Mindoro).
Areas with Typhoon Warning Signal No. 1:
Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the Eastern Seaboards of Central and Southern Luzon due to big waves caused by Typhoon "IGME" and the Southwest Monsoon.
