Here's the latest update Typhoon Kabayan and Tropical Depression Lando as at August 01, 0211. According to PAGASA at 2:00 a.m. today, Typhoon "KABAYAN" was located based on satellite and surface data at 1,115 km East Northeast of Tuguegarao City (18.6°N 133.5°E) with maximum sustained winds of 175 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 210 kph. It is forecast to move North Northwest at 13 kph. Meanwhile, Tropical Depression "LANDO" was estimated at 280 km West of Sinait, Ilocos Sur (17.2°N 117.7°E)with maximum winds of 45 kph near the center. It is forecast to move North Northwest slowly.
"Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves," PAGASA said.

The western sections of Luzon and Visayas will experience monsoon rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of Luzon and Visayas will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. Mindanao will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.Meanwhile, PAGASA said strong to gale-force winds are expected to affect the northern seaboard of northern Luzon, the western seaboards of Central and Southern Luzon and of the Visayas and the eastern seaboards of Luzon and Visayas.
